Rapper Offset is livid after fans of Cardi B pointed out that his 3-year-old son, Wave Set Cephus, sported braids reminiscent of Cardi’s partner, Stefon Diggs.
Supporters shared images side by side of both Wave Set and Stefon flaunting similar braided styles.
The photo of Wave was taken three months ago, whereas Stefon’s hairstyle is more recent. Cardi’s fans assert that Stefon styled his hair like Wave Set’s to provoke Offset.
And it certainly succeeded.
In a sequence of tweets on X, Offset angrily threatened to harm “someone” for messing with his child. He stated: “Now when someone dies for playing with my son then call me the crash out.”
In a subsequent tweet, Offset mentioned: “[I don’t care] how I appear. Messing with my kid ends poorly.”
Earlier, Cardi B expressed a wish for Offset to “suffer slowly” after he requested spousal support. Tax records indicate Offset is significantly in the red, owing the IRS over $2 million in unpaid taxes.
Nevertheless, his representative claimed Offset is not bankrupt and does not require Cardi B’s funds to settle his debts.
Cardi B and Offset tied the knot in September 2017 and have three children together. However, she initiated divorce proceedings in August 2024 after discovering Offset’s infidelity with an aspiring rapper.
