A Russian Model has received a suspended sentence and a penalty after confessing to fabricating a rape allegation against AC Milan defender Theo Hernandez.
Last October, Luisa Kremleva’s attorney claimed to be unwell just before her anticipated trial, citing a ‘medical emergency’ that led to a postponement as state prosecutors sought to imprison her for two years.
The Russian-born model chose to skip her appearance at the Malaga courtroom that day to avoid confronting the media, but officials have confirmed that Kremleva was given a six-month suspended prison term and fined £1500 after reaching a discreet plea agreement with the prosecutors, according to The Sun.
Kremleva acknowledged lying under oath by asserting that Hernandez, 27, had assaulted her in the back of a Porsche outside a Marbella nightclub.
The 28-year-old has been cautioned that she will be incarcerated if she commits any further offenses within the next two years after her official conviction for filing a false criminal report.
Detectives managed to conclude their inquiry in just two days after reviewing CCTV footage from the parking lot, which showed she had fallen unintentionally rather than being forcibly ejected from the vehicle following the alleged ‘assault.’
Authorities are also thought to have acquired a text message sent by Kremleva to the Marseille-born athlete around 6:15 am, two hours post the alleged incident, persistently inquiring when he would return home with her.
