Samsung Electronics Announces The Demise Of Co – CEO Han Jong-hee.

On Tuesday, March 25th, Samsung Electronics revealed the unfortunate news of the demise of its co-CEO, Han Jong-hee, who passed away due to cardiac arrest at the age of 63.

Han played a crucial role in overseeing the company’s divisions for consumer electronics and mobile devices, while his counterpart, co-CEO Jun Young-hyun, handled the chip business of South Korea’s largest entity. In the wake of this announcement, Samsung Electronics’ stock remained stable during the morning trading session.

Having joined Samsung Electronics in 1988, Han commenced his journey in the Visual Display division and swiftly became a key player in the expansion and promotion of the company’s television sector.

His memorial service is scheduled to occur at Samsung Medical Center in southern Seoul, with the burial procession planned for Thursday.
