Shank Comics Popular Nigerian skit maker, has opened up on how he was involved in internet fraud, popularly called ‘yahoo’ before making it big in the comedy industry.
The content creator whose real names are Adesokan Adedeji Emmanuel is a graduate of electronics and electrical engineering revealed he at one time engaged in cybercrime after graduating from the university.
According to him, he traveled to Osun in 2019 to learn ‘yahoo’ from some group of guys.
He revealed he was a yahoo boy apprentice for 6 months but wasn’t able to make any money at all from it.
Shank said that the guy who was teaching him the scam gave him an iPhone 6 as compensation after the fruitless 6 months.
