Social media personality Laura Ikeji has voiced her endorsement for the detention of the spouses of those engaged in cyber fraud, commonly known as Yahoo boys.
In a recent post on Instagram, the wife of Ogbonna Kanu remarked that the partners of these individuals should also be apprehended when their husbands are taken into custody. She asked for her followers’ perspectives, pointing out the trend of women reaping the rewards of their partners’ lifestyles while being hesitant to bear the consequences of their deeds.
As a mother of three, she underscored the seriousness of marriage, implying that women should be ready to face the fallout along with their mates, even playfully suggesting they should bring their luxury handbags to prison.
“Spouses of Yahoo guys should also be detained when these individuals are caught. Don’t you agree? You all enjoy the benefits with them but aren’t willing to endure the fallout?
