Teenage comedienne Emmanuella Samuel has tackled the speculations that have persisted about her through the years. In a chat with Premium Times, the 15-year-old disclosed that numerous narratives regarding her private life, including assertions of pregnancy and matrimony, are false.
Nigerian News headlines relays that she clarified that in spite of the misleading reports, she prioritizes the truth and continues to navigate her life without stress.
She stated:
“There are a plethora of rumors out there. I’ve come across countless stories, but I’m aware of the truth. One of them claimed that Ella was expecting, that I was set to marry, that I had already tied the knot, etc., all of which are untrue. There are numerous outrageous rumors, and at times I ponder where they originate from.”
Emmanuella affirmed that one of the rumors circulating about her is indeed accurate—specifically, that at the tender age of 10, she purchased a house for her parents.
She mentioned that this choice stemmed from affection and a wish to ensure her family lived comfortably free from the burden of rent.
As per her account, the initiative was intended to make her parents proud and bring joy to those around her.
She shared that she is the fourth child in a family of six and conveyed that she never felt compelled to take this step.
She remarked;
“The motive was to bring pride to my parents, ensuring happiness for everyone around me, regardless of my own sadness; I always aimed to put smiles on their faces. I felt it was unjust for my mother to remain in a rented home, and that my family deserved better, so we proposed the idea of constructing a comfortable place where they wouldn’t have to pay rent.
“That’s how the house came to be. There are six of us in my family. I’m the fourth child. I did it (the house) out of love. I don’t experience any pressure.”
