Former ‘The Oval’ star Derek Dixon has leveled accusations against film and television mogul Tyler Perry, citing sexual harassment and gender-based violence in the workplace.
Dixon, who portrayed the gay twink character Dale in ‘The Oval’ and ‘Ruthless,’ initiated a $260 million lawsuit against Perry in California on June 13.
Submitted evidence to the court includes text messages exchanged between the two men over the years.
“I haven’t been touched in months…”
According to court filings, Perry pledged to produce Dixon’s television pilot and include him in his productions, ‘The Oval’ and ‘Ruthless.’
The lawsuit claims Perry subjected Dixon to “increasing sexual harassment, assault and battery, and professional retaliation when Mr. Dixon failed to reciprocate Mr. Perry’s unwelcome advances.

The text messages depict Perry, 55, as a solitary older gay man, yearning for attention from a significantly younger individual.
Perry mentioned to Dixon that he had been intimate with men previously and that “he was a top.” He also informed Dixon, “when you have a big d*ck and when you hit the G-spot right on these bottoms, they go wild.”

Matthew Boyd, attorney for Tyler Perry, expressed in a statement to TMZ: “This is a person who ingratiated themselves with Tyler Perry for what now seems to be merely orchestrating a fraud. However, Tyler will not be coerced, and we are assured that these concocted accusations of harassment will not succeed.”
