Wolfgang Porsche a Porsche executive is reportedly divorcing his wife, with excuses her dementia-like illness has reportedly become unbearable for him.
A source close to Porsche,79, claims it has been “impossible” for him to live with his 74-year-old wife, Claudia Porsche, after the dementia-like illness has caused drastic changes to her personality and states its grounds for separation, as reported by the New York Post. Claudia previously worked as an adviser to the German government and has been unable to move on her own for months.
She requires 24-care and receives help from her daughter and four housekeepers. However, Wolfgang is allegedly in a new relationship as he’s been spending time with his longtime friend, Gabriela Prinzessin zu Leiningen, in recent months, the outlet said. She is also twice divorced.
According to the Daily Mail, Porsche and Leiningen are moving in together since they don’t want to spend any more time apart, and they recently went on a vacation to the Maldives in January. Porsche and his wife Claudia have been together since 2007 and married in 2019.
Porsche is the youngest son of former Porsche AG designer and CEO Ferdinand Porsche and Dorothea Reitz. His grandfather, Ferdinand Sr, founded Porsche AG. He has four children, two with director and screenplay writer Susanne Bresser; the couple married in 1988 and divorced in 2008, and he currently lives in Zell am See, Austria.
