A woman known as Harira Muhammad Tudun Murtala has been presented before a Kano Upper Shari’a Court located in the Post Office district of Kano Municipality for reportedly entering into nuptials with two husbands concurrently.
Harira and her initial spouse, Sagiru Shuaibu T/Murtala, have been wed for six months and residing apart.
During his visit to her home, he is said to have discovered another man on their conjugal bed, prompting him to notify the neighbors about the situation.
When she appeared in court, the woman initially denied her marriage to her first husband; however, when commanded by the judge to take an oath on the Qur’an, she changed her story.
