Eucharia Anunobi Speaks On Direct Message [DM] Etiquette

Seasoned Nollywood star and preacher, Eucharia Anunobi, has taken to social platforms to express her views on how individuals engage in conversations through direct messages (DMs).

In a video shared on her Instagram account, Anunobi articulated her annoyance with people who initiate DMs with ambiguous greetings like “Hi” or “Hello gorgeous,” without elaborating on their intention.

“I just don’t understand. I really don’t comprehend. Why would you slide into someone’s DM and simply say hi? Hello, Beautiful. For goodness’ sake, do you think we all have time to squander?”

Nigerian senior secondary school pupils in the arts and  humanities will no longer need to achieve a credit in maths in their Senior School Certificate Examination,  overseen by the West African Examination Council  (WAEC) and the National Examination Council, as a prerequisite for university and polytechnic admission, announced the  Federal Ministry of Education on Tuesday.

Speaking with her characteristic passion and fervor, the actress underscored the importance of being purposeful and considerate of others’ time. In this rapid-paced life, she contended, there’s minimal tolerance for senseless back-and-forth exchanges.

“Oh, so we should begin small talk. Hey, then I say hello, then you respond ‘How are you?’ That’s okay. Come on, now. Man, be direct, state your intentions, clarify where you’re headed to, where you’ve been, come on.”

Eucharia asserted that regardless of whether you’re messaging for business, networking, or even love, transparency is indispensable.

“Don’t you grasp what seizing your opportunity means? Clearly, common sense is not universally shared.”
