Folorunsho Alakija, the visionary behind Famfa Oil and its Executive Vice Chairman, has been reported to have lost her sight, according to healthcare professionals tending to her.
At 73 years of age, the Nigerian tycoon’s health complications are thought to have arisen after a distressing near-flight incident.
As per details from SaharaReporters, Alakija, alongside her spouse Modupe Alakija, the Chairman of Famfa Oil, encountered a worrisome event during their flight, which resulted in a spike in her blood pressure.
This alarming scenario is believed to have adversely impacted her vision. To circumvent future flights with her husband, Alakija is said to have procured a new aircraft. Furthermore, she is rumored to have established a church for spiritual aid.
Despite these endeavors, her vision continued to deteriorate, ultimately culminating in her total blindness.
