A court in Georgia has just granted Porsha full control of Simon’s $10M estate in Atlanta, allowing her to film Real Housewives of Atlanta there – at least for the time being.
As per the records acquired, a Fulton County court has handed over to the Real Housewives of Atlanta star, aged 43, “temporary, sole and exclusive possession, use and occupancy” of the residence shared with Simon Guobadia.
The order permits Porsha to exercise the “unrestricted right to film and create content for television, film, or social media” on the property. The documents also specified that Simon, 60, must “execute any and all documents necessary to facilitate.”
Porsha and Simon have been in conflict since the reality star filed for divorce in February after a marriage lasting 15 months. This isn’t Porsha’s first legal success in her divorce proceedings.
Simon and Porsha entered into a prenuptial agreement before their wedding in 2022. The intent of this contract was “to prevent contested and costly litigation, including the expensive and potentially invasive discovery process” should divorce occur.
Porsha cleverly got Simon to sign an agreement that granted her sole authority over his mansion in the case of a divorce. Despite their marriage lasting less than two years, Porsha filed for divorce and took over his estate.
