Michael Jordan earned the 379th spot on the list following the sale of the Charlotte Hornets in August for $3 billion.
His wealth which is now worth $3 billion puts him in the same bracket as Meg Whitman, the former CEO of eBay, and real estate mogul Jerry Speyer, both of whom also made the list & are also sitting pretty with $3 billion.
Jordan, who has been a billionaire since 2014, had been a majority owner of Charlotte Hornet since 2010, when he bought the franchise for $275 million.
Meanwhile, Tesla CEO Elon Musk holds tight No. 1 spot on the list with a net worth of $251 billion) and Amazon.com founder Jeff Bezos follows with a wealth of $161 billion.
